Acceptance of terms
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our Shipping Policy, our Refund & Exchange Policy and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Customer responsibilities
- You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
- Give us accurate and complete details, including your name, address, phone number and email.
- Keep your account details confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Check your order carefully before paying.
- Be reachable by phone for delivery, and keep your address correct.
Product descriptions
We try to describe our teas (Kadak, Regular, Elaichi and combo packs, in 250g and 1kg packs) as accurately as possible. Product images are for illustration, and packaging or colour may vary slightly. Tea is a natural product, so taste and aroma can vary a little between batches. Please read the product page for pack size and other details before you order.
Pricing and taxes
- All prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR).
- Applicable taxes, including GST, are shown at checkout.
- We may change prices and offers at any time. Changes do not affect orders already confirmed.
- If a product is listed at the wrong price by mistake, we may cancel the order and refund your payment in full.
Order acceptance and cancellation
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm or dispatch your order. We may decline or cancel an order if:
- A product is out of stock
- There is a pricing or listing error
- There is a problem with the payment
- We suspect fraud or misuse
- We cannot deliver to your address
If we cancel an order after you have paid, we will refund the full amount. You can cancel your own order before it is dispatched by contacting us as soon as possible. After dispatch, our Refund & Exchange Policy applies.
Online payments
Payments on our website are processed by Razorpay using the payment methods shown at checkout. By paying, you authorise the charge for your order. If a payment fails but the amount is debited from your account, it is usually reversed by your bank or payment provider within their timelines. If it is not, please contact us with your transaction details. We are not responsible for delays or charges by your bank or payment provider.
Intellectual property
The Kanpuriya Chai name, logo, images, text, designs and other content on this website belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or use them without our written permission.
Prohibited use
You agree not to:
- Use the website for any unlawful purpose
- Give false information or place fake or fraudulent orders
- Try to hack, disrupt or damage the website or its security
- Use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to collect data from the website
- Use our content for commercial purposes without our permission
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our website and products are provided on an “as available” basis. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for delays caused by events outside our control, such as courier delays, strikes or natural events. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
